Splice is a small press based in Scotland. They publish three collections of short stories and a novel each year. Please note they charge a small reading fee of £3.
Genre: Book-length collections of short fiction, novellas and novels. They lean towards literary fiction but encourage submissions that depart from strict realism. In the past they have published science fiction, magical realism, absurdism, surrealism, urban fantasy, horror, and speculative historical fiction.
Word count: 10,000 to 20,000 words for novellas and 20,000 words and above for novels.
